Blaylocks Shoes

Established in 1920 and trading through four generations Blaylock's is Swindon's only family run Shoe Shop and one of the leading independent shoe businesses in the south of England.

Originally established as a shoe repair business in Gorse Hill they relocated to Old Town in 1928 where the business has developed to its present day success, built upon a foundation of personal service with long established staff, where the aim is, " To sell shoes that don't come back to customers who do. "

Trading for nearly 100 years and on its fourth generation of the Blaylock family, the business was started by Robert Blaylock and he was joined by his son Arthur Blaylock who took the business forward by not only doing shoe repairs but also selling shoes, Arthur's son David Blaylock  joined in 1974 and is still involved to this day, In 1995 David's son Mark Blaylock started working as a Saturday boy but that turned into a full time job a year later and is now the shop Manager.

David Blaylock says, " Our success has been in offering personal service coupled with a stock selection which cannot be matched by the average High Street store.

We carry a core stock to which seasonal additions are added.
